Jason Karr has spent nearly two decades serving the residents of Morris Plains, first as a member of the Borough Council beginning in 2007, and since 2019 as Mayor. Over that time, he has built a reputation as a steady, hands-on leader who shows up for his community — from council chambers to Main Street, from town events to the front steps of neighbors who just want to be heard.
Jason's approach to leadership has never been about politics for its own sake. It's been about Morris Plains: keeping the town safe, strengthening its downtown, supporting local schools and small businesses, and preserving the small-town character that makes this community special.
